I wrote this song sometime in the mid-60's. The Heard recorded this as a demo record. This was intended as a tongue-in-cheek insensitive macho song, certainly not reflective of my attitude towards women!
Well first thing my daddy told me When I became a young man
He said son don't you ever get stuck Holdin' on to just one woman's hand
He said son it's such a very short life Don't you ever get stuck with a wife
There are a lot of easy women So doggone easy to find
Well I grew a little big bigger Went slidin' all over my town
And the old man he was right Lot of easy women all around
All I had to do was wave my hand I became a big loving man
There were a lot of easy women So doggone easy to find
And now I'm a grey old man I never ever got stuck with a wife
And I'm telling all of my sons All about the facts of life
I say sons it's such a very short life Don't you ever get stuck with a wife
There are a lot of easy women So doggone easy to find
